Etisalat Niger changed brand name to 9mobile

Etisalat Nigeria is changing its brand name to 9Mobile, TheCable has learnt.
Half a month back, Mubadala Group, the real financial specialist from the United Arab Emirates, hauled out of Nigeria's fourth biggest versatile administrator, due to a N541 billion obligation.
On July 4, 2017, another board was named at Etisalat Nigeria, to deal with the smooth move of the media communications organization after a reallocation of offers.
Boye Olusanya, previous delegate overseeing executive of Celtel Nigeria (now Airtel Nigeria), was selected as the CEO of Etisalat Nigeria to over observe the move.
Olusanya was named to administer the move of the organization because of his involvement in the smooth move of Celtel to Airtel.
The move of the telcom, with 21 million endorsers, was handled with the guide of the Central Bank of NIGERIA (CBN) and National Communications Commission (NCC).
NCC has cautioned the loan bosses that the permit granted to Etisalat Nigeria is not transferable, viably preventing the banks from taking responsibility for organization.
